Kauri Rescue™ works every day to protect Aotearoa’s treasured kauri forests from kauri dieback disease, a devastating pathogen that threatens the very existence of these majestic trees. By combining science, community engagement, and private landowner partnerships, we’re building effective, practical ways to care for kauri – but we cannot do it alone.

Ambassadors can also engage in summer field workshops on private land to help Kauri Rescue™ treat and monitor the health of infected trees.
